Often we are taken up by rumours and tend to blindly believe what we hear. With the internet at our finger tips  it is so easy to be able to find out its true definition. Wanna know if these myths are just what it is, Myths or are they Hits?

1. OIL ON OILY SKIN CAUSES BREAK OUTS

With the right type, the oil can actually balance your skin. Non-comedogenic oils such as grape seed and castor oil help provide certain antioxidants that enclose moisture, protect the skin and balance sebum production.

2. ALCOHOL DRIES UP ACNE AND BREAKOUTS

Alcohol is a desiccant, but the ingredients are too harsh when used topically for skin care. It may look attractive, but it can actually be too dry to panic the skin and induce more sebum production (the skin can get worse).

3. THE SUN HELPS WITH ACNE.

Although the sun can dry your skin and reduce the production of sebum, the effects are only temporary. According to research, sunlight can cause dryness and dehydration, and it promotes the production of sebum on the skin and leads to an increase in sebum after exposure to sunlight.

4. DIET DOESN’T AFFECT THE SKIN

There’s a lot of debate about this, but in the end certain foods (i.e. highly processed foods, cooked foods, refined carbohydrates, etc.) can cause inflammation in the intestines and cause it to appear externally. This can lead to breakouts and premature aging due to decreased collagen production and overproduction of sebum. Foods such as fruits and vegetables promote the production of collagen, but other foods, such as dairy products and foods with high glycemic index (GI) and high glycemic load (GL), cause the production of sebum.

5. CLEAN SKIN IN THE MORNING

Oil builds up on your skin even while you sleep. Not washing morning can cause blackheads or acne.

7. SKINCARE PRODUCTS THAT WORK LIKE INJECTIONS

Whatever the company or brand claims, it is 100% impossible for topical products to work with injections or laser treatments. Wrinkles can be completely eliminated when injected by a medical professional. Believing that all of the topics can offer the same treatment is a great disappointment.

7. COCONUT OIL AS A MOISTURISER

Coconut oil is a comedogenic oil that induces acne and clogs up pores. There are many other options that can provide a lot of hydration and cause less problems on your skin.

8. YOUR SKIN CAN BUILD TOLERANCE TO A PRODUCT AND BECOME INEFFECTIVE

Your skin does not form resistance to ingredients or products. If spinach retains its health benefits, so do the healthy and effective ingredients of skin care products. You can see the plateau, which means that the skin does not continue to improve as it did for the first time, but the product continues to maintain.
